The Sausalito Art Festival Foundation is proud to bring to auction a body of work from juried artists from around the nation who have been widely recognized for their talent. Now is your chance to get a piece of artwork from some of the most beloved artists in the country.

Throughout 60-plus years, the iconic Sausalito Art Festival developed a loyal following of patrons and artists who remember it fondly, and yearn for its return. In fact, rarely does a day go by when we’re not asked “when is the Sausalito Art Festival coming back?”

In 2021, a homeless encampment moved into Marinship Park, the location of the Sausalito Art Festival, and the Festival was canceled for obvious reasons. Since then, the Sausalito Art Festival Foundation has been fulfilling it’s mission to “encourage, promote and support the arts for the community,” by producing art centric events of various types.

While we are not sure when the park will be ready to host the live Sausalito Art Festival, the Sausalito Art Festival Foundation is connecting its artists with its art-loving-patrons via this online auction.

The Sausalito Art Festival Foundation (SAFF), has juried artists from around the nation, and is proud to exhibit this body of work from artists who are rich in awards from leading festivals near and far. It’s your opportunity to explore works of art from the best festival artists around, from the comfort of your home.

Bidding will run October 29 - November 5 at which time the auction site will be open.

Who is Exhibiting?

• This juried event is open to artists from around the country, many who have previously exhibited at the Sausalito Art Festival.

• The majority of the artists have won important awards from major art festivals and other qualified sources.

• 100 artists are participating in multiple artistic categories.

What Is the Auction Format?

• The auction will take place in a “silent auction” format. At the close of the auction, the highest bidder for the chosen piece will be the winner.

• SAFF will use an established auction platform that will keep track of all sale items, bids, and payment collection.

• The auction price does not include the cost of shipping. At the close of the auction, SAFF will connect the buyer with the artist who will arrange shipping.
