Welcome to the Sausalito Art Festival!

Don't miss our 62nd Annual Festival - Labor Day Weekend

August 30 – September 1

Fine art, music, food, and wine come together every year along the scenic Sausalito waterfront for one of the premier art festivals in the United States. One of the oldest, most prestigious open-air art events, the Sausalito Art Festival attracts art aficionados and collectors from around the world and continues to set the standard for quality, variety, innovation and sheer scope of art on display, as well as for a celebrated entertainment line-up and special exhibits.

2014 Celebrated Artists

260 exciting artists from across the country will be exhibiting paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramic, glass, fiber arts, woodwork, photography, mixed media and more. The juried show features local, San Francisco Bay Area artists as well as highly-lauded artists from across the continent -- Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, the Southwest and Canada. In addition to well-known favorites (artist George Sumner will be celebrating his 38th year at the festival) there are over 60 new exhibiting artists.

Dance to the Music

With continuous live music on two stages, the festival will once again offer top-name performers this year, including Taj Majal, Tommy Castro, The Fabulous Thundrbirds and Pride & Joy.  For a full line-up of musicians and the updated schedule stay tuned to this website, “Like” us on Facebook and/or follow our blog.

Sip & Savor

In addition to an international array of delicious foods, the festival offers premium California wines (Rombauer, Domaine Carneros, Frank Family, Stags Leap to name just a few) and all the latest micro-brews, as well as Stella Artois (our Main Stage sponsor).   Visitors can wine-taste their way across the festival grounds or linger in the Beer Garden (new this year!) cooling off with a Speakeasy Prohibition Ale or an Eel River IPA.

Carnevale: Unmask Your Imagination - 2014 Gala

Friday, August 29

Every year the festival begins with an elegant black tie gala on the festival grounds. Attendees get to preview the art and meet the artists at a sumptuous reception, followed by a sit-down dinner by celebrity caterer Dan McCall, music and dancing with The Dick Bright Orchestra. It is an evening filled with wonder. This year the theme is Venetian Masquerade and as always, proceeds from the gala benefit the art festival’s Artist’s Teaching Art program.

If you still need incentives for including us in your Labor Day Weekend plans, take a look at last year’s festival highlights below.

For 62 years, the Sausalito Art Festival has brought fine art, artists and the community together to inspire, and be inspired; this year promises more of the same. Plus some!
