Getting to the festival
There are many transportation options for traveling to the Sausalito Art Festival, including the Blue & Gold Fleet, which offers a combined ferry/Festival ticket package (www.blueandgoldfleet.com) and transports Festival-goers from Pier 41 in San Francisco directly to the Festival pier. Golden Gate Transit will add extra ferries for the Festival and will sail to downtown Sausalito. Free shuttle buses will transport ferry passengers to and from the Festival. Golden Gate Transit’s bus service is also available; contact 415.455.2000 or www.goldengate.org for ferry and bus information. Additionally, free valet bicycle parking from Marin Bike Coalition will be provided.
For those traveling to the Festival by car, take Highway 101 North or South to the Sausalito/Marin City exit and follow the signs to the Sausalito Art Festival.
Fourteen acres of paid parking lots, including Handicapped Areas are available for Festival patrons. Parking is coordinated by the Sausalito Rotary Club, and is operational from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (see map below for exact locations of Rotary Parking).
Parking Lot directional signs are posted at the Marin City / Sausalito exit and along Bridgeway. The downtown Sausalito Ferry Landing Parking Lot is serviced by a Free Festival Shuttle Service to and from the Festival’s front gate.
ATM services may be found outside the Festival grounds near the Front Gate, and inside the Festival grounds adjacent to the Main Stage and opposite from the Margaritas booth and the Bay Model Visitor Center building.
Restrooms are located west of the Security and First Aid tents and adjacent to the Varda Mural at the southwest corner of the lawn area, and on the waterfront to the left of the Lounge and Main Stage. Disabled Access Ramps are provided throughout the Festival grounds and at the Bay Model Visitor Center. Disabled parking is located in the lot across from the Main Gate.
